Support community growth
Funds are standard solutions used by companies to encourage and help developers. Funds are vital in the blockchain world as they help startup teams develop their projects faster. The end result will be more active developers in a community. The community will be more successful in attracting new users who will drive the growth of the industry. Input Output is one of the most important supporters of the Cardano community. The Project Catalyst program is designed to help development teams work faster and easier.
Project Catalyst’s new fund is called Fund2. It’s the first stage in a roadmap called Voltaire. The main goal is to attract and encourage developers to come up with innovative ideas that will fuel the growth of the Cardano community. The participants in the Fund2 project presented proposals using real ADA tokens, discussed, refined and voted on proposals. It was the first time that such projects were managed by the token.
After days of evaluation and voting for / against the projects, 11 proposals will be selected to receive the $ 250,000 fund. These suggestions focus on solutions that attract new developers to the community. Each of them suggest a new upgrade in the Cardano blockchain that will simplify the development processes.
The upgrade of the PoolTool platform is one of the winners of Fonds2, which focuses on offering additional products to pool operators. The ultimate goal of this proposal is to improve the diversity of infrastructure in the blockchain. Other winning suggestions are:
- Ouroboros via RINA
