Bella Terra Bear returns and roams the neighborhood

The Bella Terra Bear is back in time for recycling day.

At around 9 a.m., the bear was spotted by Amanda Torkarski across the street from her home on Ardore Lane in Estero. Torkarski was just returning from her dog when she saw the furry visitor.

FWC to catch and kill Bella Terra bears

This is the same area where Florida Fish & Wildlife officials set a trap earlier this month that was later removed after the bear was not caught.

The bear could be seen in the street where an open garage revealed an upside-down garbage can and rubbish open. Bears that get used to human-provided food sources can rarely be relocated as they continue to search for these food sources.

Bear sighting at Bella Terra in Estero

Earlier this month, Florida Fish & Wildlife officials said that if the bear returned, trapping attempts could be renewed. At the moment, the bear only seems interested in the recycling day buffet.
