DENVER (AP) – Philipp Grubauer took his 100th career win with a 13 night and led the Colorado Avalanche 5-2 past the Anaheim Ducks.
Since moving to Colorado before the 2018/19 season, Grubauer has recorded 57 wins and placed 21st this season. Gabriel Landeskog and Tyson Jost scored in the second half to help Colorado extend their points range to 11 games (9-0-2).
Mikko Rantanen, JT Compher and Valeri Nichushkin also scored goals, Cale Makar had three assists and Nathan MacKinnon added two.
Danton Heinen and Troy Terry scored a goal for the Ducks. Ryan Miller made several highlights but was overwhelmed by 48 shots. He finished with 43 saves for Anaheim, whose winning streak was interrupted in two games.
