Popular bitcoin lottery platform Crypto Millions Lotto has announced a partnership agreement with one of the English Premier League (EPL) football teams, Wolverhampton FC, to become the club’s official lottery partner.
Crypto Millions Lotto, which called the partnership “groundbreaking,” made the announcement in a. famous Press release and notes that the deal is the first of its kind involving an EPL football club with an online lottery company.
Describing Wolverhampton as the most crypto-friendly football club in England, Sulim Malook, CEO of Crypto Millions Lotto, added: that Wolverhampton’s performances in the 2018/2019 season made them the perfect choice to partner with.
He said,
We are happy to have found a partner who shares the same disruptive ethos as we do. […] As a company, we’re big football fans and Wolves is the most crypto-friendly club in England. You were an obvious choice.
It is worth remembering that Wolverhampton’s remarkable performance last season led the club to finish in the top seven teams in what is considered to be the most competitive in the world.
Interestingly, Crypto Million Lotto found that Wolverhampton’s competitive spirit can be compared to that of Bitcoin (BTC) as the team can challenge the EPL hierarchy like Manchester City, Manchester United and others.
In particular, Crypto Million Lotto is leveraging Wolverhampton’s global popularity to give the company access to new markets in Asia, Latin America, Canada and Russia.
“We are excited to partner with Crypto Millions Lotto, an ambitious company looking to increase its presence on multiple platforms using Wolves’ global reach,” said Steve Morton, Wolverhampton’s Head of Commercial.
According to the press release, the partnership would also promote the global rollout of Bitcoin via Crypto Millions Lotto Referral program Platform as registered users can earn BTC for every completed recommendation. In addition, the referral platform will also allow users to compete for a $ 2.5 million giveaway without buying a lottery ticket, the press release said.
This isn’t the first time crypto-related companies have partnered with EPL soccer teams.
Coinfomania reported last year that eToro, an Israel-based social trading platform, signed a sponsorship deal with some of the biggest clubs in England that will allow teams to take a test that allows them to Buy players with BTC.
