Did MooCowMoo, the Dash Core Group’s senior advisor, conduct an exit scam with an unprecedented amount of Dash investor funds? Here’s what’s known so far.
Core Advisor MooCowMoo disappears

What seems to have all the classic hallmarks of exit fraud came to light yesterday when a Dash user, Erulian, posted a message on the Dash forum.
However, he had waited a long time. Users of MooCowMoo’s shared masternode service were notified by email on August 10th this year.
You have been informed that the Dash Core Group’s senior advisor and owner of a Masternode Shares service would close and return all funds:
To counter the stress, I will close stocks and return all deposits to their original addresses within a week or two if time permits.
However, it is now December 2nd and MooCowMoo has apparently vanished into thin air …
Erulian confirmed the silence of the Dash Core Group’s senior advisor and called for other possible victims. He asked: “Who else has lost money?” And said, “I hope to start a discussion about it, it’s getting late.”
Another user, scombo, joined the conversation. He confirmed that he hadn’t heard a word from MooCowMoo since September.
Scombo reached out to several others on the network to reveal the advisor’s true identity, to no avail. He added:
It might also be worthwhile to include the Dash core group as this traces back very badly to Dash, especially since he was a prominent member of the team
Hyphenated answer not helpful to say the least
Unfortunately for Erulian and Scombo, the Dash Core Group could not help. After begging them to help investors contact MooCowMoo since the problem was causing “a lot of stress”, users were pretty much told to find out for themselves.
The answer was simple:
“Numbers have power”.
Does the number of user funds the Dash Core Group Senior Advisor has amassed? Or the number of people falling victim to another seedy crypto exit scam? Who knows.
