Don’t go to your local Burger King thinking you’re getting a whopper and fries with your DOGE. The fast food chain only accepts the crypto for buying meat-flavored dog biscuits.
The special dog treats from the International restaurant brands (NYSE:QSR) Daughter is called Dogpper, a reference to the chain’s iconic burger. Customers who want to pick up one of these treats for their pooch have to hand in three Dogecoins.
It’s also worth noting that customers can have the Dogper delivered to their home. However, they can’t go crazy with their orders. Burger King Brazil limits its customers to five dog treats per purchase.
Of course, customers who want to order the delicacies for their four-legged friend do not have to resort to DOGE. There is also the option of paying for the dog food with fiat currency. It might not be as trendy as using Dogecoin, but man’s best friend won’t care as long as they get their goodies.
The price of Dogecoin is around 20 cents on Thursday afternoon. That said, it only costs customers about 60 cents to pick up a Burger King Dogpper at today’s prices.
