NEW YORK (PRWEB)

e.terra ™, a flexible culinary workspace solutions company, today announced the opening of its first flexible commercial kitchen facility in Harlem, New York. Founded by industry veterans Bella Karakis and Joel Rogozinski, E.terra provides community-focused, flexible solutions for commercial kitchens and business services to support the growth of food and beverage companies at every stage of development.
“We launched e.terra to rethink the commercial kitchen model and help those most economically affected by the pandemic in the New York culinary community,” commented Bella Karakis, CEO of e.terra. Food business owners and established brands all have unique needs. Our central location in Harlem is specifically designed to help businesses of all sizes start, start, grow, and thrive. It’s time to get the chefs back to the boil. “
The Harlem space is 5,600 square feet and has 2 large kitchens, state-of-the-art commercial kitchen equipment and technology that allows room for scalability while keeping startup costs down. It includes a shared commercial kitchen, bakery kitchen, ghost or private kitchen stations, dry and cold storage, office co-working space and a full list of business support services.
The company has also partnered with a local nonprofit, Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center (Isaacs Center), to offer internship opportunities to young adults participating in the center’s culinary program and pursuing careers in the food industry. Isaacs Center is a multi-service, nonprofit organization in the Upper East Side of Manhattan that focuses on the needs of children, low-income families, out-of-school and unemployed youth, and aging New Yorkers.
“The city’s economic recovery will largely depend on its efforts to create employment pathways for those who marginally survived this pandemic. Isaacs Center is proud to partner with e.terra to provide hope and opportunity for young adults seeking culinary careers at this critical time of economic renewal at local and national levels, “said Gregory J. Morris, President and Executive Director of Isaacs Center.
