AB InBev is exceeding pre-pandemic sales, but profits are not overwhelming
BRUSSELS (Reuters) -Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world’s largest brewery group, was underutilized by profit as costs rose and although sales in the second quarter rose above pre-pandemic levels. AB InBev maintained its forecast that earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) would increase 8% to 12% this year, with sales increasing faster. In the second quarter, that profit figure rose 31% on a like-for-like basis to 4.85 billion.
