Poll: Nissan Terra accepts Isuzu MU-X

The 2018 Nissan Terra has not been confirmed for the Australian market, but has managed to become the best-selling Isuzu MU-X in our current online survey.

A significant 58 percent of those surveyed preferred the seven-seater Nissan to the MU-X, which is currently at the top in its sales class.

Nissan headquarters has not yet decided whether to send the Terra to Australia. In Southeast Asia, it is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel engine with 140 kW and 450 Nm of torque, which is coupled with a seven-speed automatic transmission.

This engine is not for sale in Australia – it won’t meet our emissions standards – but the 2.3 liter turbodiesel from the Navara fits on the same frame. The only other sticking point? Autonomous emergency braking, a requirement for a five-star ANCAP rating.

There’s a new BMW X5. Called the G05, it’s bigger and more luxurious than the car it replaces and features more technology than ever before. It’s also there early, like a premature baby. Instead of waiting the required eight years, BMW launched this new car after just four years. Is it a winner in your eyes?
