Rocker Gene Simmons Announces $ 300,000 Investment in Cardano (ADA)

Gene Simmons, legendary bassist for popular rock bank Kiss, announced he invested $ 300,000 in Cardano (ADA) shortly after announcing positions in other cryptocurrencies such as BTC, ETH and DOGE.

On social media, Simmons posted a tweet announcing his investment and warning his 938,000 followers that he is not a financial analyst and that he will not tell them what to buy or not to buy before saying he believes in the upcoming ADA Project.

I just bought $ 300,000 in CARDANO (ADA). I am not a financial analyst and I am not asking U to buy or not to buy. Just let you know what I do and what I believe in. Why? Because I believe it will rise … and it is always up to you to research and decide. pic.twitter.com/UiIqowJ4pY

Simmons warned his followers that it was up to them to do their own research. In response to the tweet, Cardano founder and co-founder of Ethereum, Charles Hoskinson, welcomed the rocker to the ADA community and invited him for a private chat if he needed assistance.

Shortly after Simmons announced the investment, ADA went up in price. The celebrity was quick to respond to the move, saying his followers were already raising the price of the cryptocurrency.

In several follow-up tweets, the investor showed interest in Cardano because it was founded by a co-founder of Ethereum, Hoskinson, who, according to a quote he tweeted, “sees 2021 as the most productive year in Cardano history”.

Simmons replied to a user who claimed Cardano was a “sleeping giant” and said it could “very well be.” Designed and developed by IHOK in collaboration with the University of Edinburgh, the University of Athens and the University of Connecticut, Cardano is the world’s first expert-reviewed blockchain.

It’s worth noting that Gene Simmons joined Elon Musk’s tweets about Dogecoin earlier this month, saying he made a six-figure investment in DOGE. The rocker said he also invested in ETH when it was trading at $ 300 and $ 300,000 in Binance Coin (BNB).

When he responded to his tweets, several users warned that Gene could afford to invest in these altcoins like him, given that he had an estimated net worth of $ 400 million.

Then, on Saturday, Simmons tweeted that his comments on cryptocurrencies he’s invested in shouldn’t be financial or investment aid:

Again. I do not recommend or not recommend. I am not paid and I am not a spokesperson for this. But I have achieved amazingly good results with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Chainlink, Binance, Cardano (ADA). If I invest in more, I’ll let you know. It’s always your call.
