Secret To Get Rich In Bitcoin? Trippin ‘On Shrooms Reveals German Billionaire – Deutsche Bank Ag (DB)
A German billionaire whose family office Apeiron Investment Group is a major investor in more than half a dozen companies announced that eating psilocybin mushrooms was the secret of his success.
What happened: Christian Angermayer, 43, attributed psychedelic mushrooms for its success, calling them “the most significant thing I’ve ever done in my entire life,” reported the New York Post.
Angermayer’s investments range from a pharmaceutical startup that synthesizes a depression drug from psilocybin, the psychoactive substance found in mushrooms, to Bitcoin (BTC).

The billionaire credited his first encounter with mushrooms for finally understanding Bitcoin.
BTC rose 2.32% to $ 55,184.20.
Why it matters: Apeiron raised more than $ 1 billion in total and helped seven companies go public in the past year, Bloomberg reported.
Ten more of his portfolio companies are set to go public this year, bankers familiar with the situation told Bloomberg.
The magnate has also produced or produced 21 films, including the 2020 biopic “Resistance” by Marcel Marceau.

However, not all deals with Angermayer were controversial.
In 2017, Apeiron helped Chinese HNA Group buy 9.9% of Deutsche Bank AG (NYSE: DB) Share that appointed his friend Gerd Alexander Schuetz to the bank’s board of directors.
The stake in the German bank was reportedly sold after the conglomerate faced debt problems. It filed for bankruptcy earlier this year.
Angermayer also received a finder fee of EUR 13 million (USD 15.6 million) for matching executives from SoftBank Group Corp. (OTC: SFTBY) and pressured Wirecard AG (OTC: WCAGY) (OTC: WRCDF) according to Bloomberg.
Wirecard saw a spectacular decline last year after reporting a $ 2.1 billion cash balance on its balance sheet.
