The Bitcoin Association publishes the 2020 annual report

Zug, Switzerland, May 07, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – (via Blockchain Wire) The Bitcoin Association, a Switzerland-based global industrial organization working to advance the Bitcoin SV blockchain and digital currency BSV business, today publishes its second year report highlighting its work and achievements over the course of 2020.

The report, which is now available for download on the Bitcoin Association’s website, is the first to have been published since the Bitcoin Association became a non-profit organization in Switzerland.   • The significant technical advancement of the Bitcoin SV network – including new world record block sizes and demonstrated transaction capacity.
  • The launch of the Bitcoin SV Academy – a dedicated online learning platform that provides university quality educational resources in academic quality about Bitcoin – as well as the launch of the world’s first Bitcoin-focused massive open online course (MOOC) in partnership with Saxion University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.
  • Significant advances in public policy, including advising on the drafting phase of Antigua and Barbuda’s landmark 2020 Digital Asset Business Act, which introduced a comprehensive legal and regulatory framework for regulating businesses in its digital asset jurisdiction .
