EOS New York has announced that it will build the world’s first EOS hardware wallet specifically designed for use with dApps.
In a recent tweet, the EOS New York team said, “The EOS blockchain provides dApps with the best user experience, so there should be a hardware wallet to match.”

A hardware wallet for your grandmother
When asked on Twitter whether the Metro hardware wallet the team created should be limited to hobbyists, the team replied that the wallet is for everyone and that “your grandmother should use it.”
No release dates, potential prices, or technical specifications of the wallet have been released at this time.
The EOS New York team closed their post with the words: “The metro is your passport into the world of EOS. Stay tuned to receive your reservation soon. “
Do dApps start on EOS?
We recently saw an increase in dApp activity on the EOS network. For example, the decentralized gaming website EOSMax has placed bets worth over 18 million US dollars since it was launched, and 833 users have been counted in the past 24 hours – according to data from dApp radar.
EOSMax is a gambling application that allows users to play casino games such as virtual slots and dice games on the blockchain. Of course, as with most blockchain-based games, all results can be checked, and with EOSMax, 100% of all game winnings are distributed to holders of the platform’s native MAX token.
Another very popular dApp on the EOS blockchain is EOS Dice. For the past few months, the application has consistently recorded more than 2,000 users per day and transactions between $ 5 million and $ 10 million.
